The Gonzaque Village Neighborhood Engagement Area (NEA) is located in the Watts Community of Los Angeles, and defined by the following borders: 103rd Street to the North, 107th Street to the South, Compton Avenue to the East, and Success Avenue to the West.  The Gonzaque Village NEA encompasses the Gonzaque Village Housing Development which comprises 184 quality, affordable housing units, owned and managed through the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA).  The CSP Gonzaque Village Team works collaboratively with HACLA, in addition to local residents and community-based partners in the public and private sectors to support a healthy quality of life for all community members.

Fun Fact: This housing development was constructed in 1942 and originally named the Hacienda Village; however, in 2000, it was renamed the Gonzaque Village in honor of Ozie B. Gonzaque, a long-time Los Angeles resident and community leader who demonstrated unwavering support for the community through service.
